Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 August 2026

The short version: UNDISMISS does not collect anything. There is no account, no server, and no network request of any kind. Everything the game remembers is written to your own browser storage and never leaves your device.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers the single-player game UNDISMISS: Half of Them Lie ("the game"). It applies to every version of the game, whether opened as a web page or packaged inside an application shell.

2. What is collected

None. I do not collect, receive, transmit, store, sell or share any information about you. Specifically, the game does not ask for and does not have access to:

Note on in-game apps. The game shows twelve fictional apps such as Clock, Photos and Calendar. These are characters in the story, drawn as icons inside the game. They are not the real apps on your device, and the game has no ability to read from or write to anything outside itself.

3. What is stored on your device

The game saves your progress locally using your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device, is readable only by the game itself, and is never uploaded.

KeyWhat it holdsWhy
notify-strike-v5 Shifts you have cleared, chapter verdicts, the tags you put on suspects, collected clues, progression items, and your sound and music switches So the case is still there when you come back
notify-strike-lang Your language preference So the game opens in the language you last chose

None of this is personal data. It describes only what happened inside the story.

4. Deleting your data

Open Settings inside the game and use Reset records. This erases the saved case immediately and permanently. You can also clear site data through your browser settings, or simply delete the app. There is no copy anywhere else, so once it is gone it is gone — including your chapter verdicts and everything you filed.

5. No third parties

The game is built from plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no dependencies. It contains:

Because the game makes no outbound requests, no third party learns that you are playing it. You can verify this by opening your browser's network panel while you play — it stays empty.

6. Device features the game does use

The game requests no operating system permissions. If your device ever prompts you for one while the game is open, it did not come from this game.

7. Children

The game is a story about reading statements and deciding who is lying. It contains no purchases, no advertising, no chat with other people, no user-generated content and no data collection, so there is nothing for a child to disclose. Because nothing is collected from anyone, nothing is knowingly collected from children.

8. Progression items

Clearing shifts earns cache coins and chips, which are spent inside the game to unlock equipment in the Tuning Bay. They are part of the story's progression and nothing else. They cannot be bought, cannot be sold or exchanged, hold no value outside the game, and involve no payment of any kind at any point.

9. Who publishes this game

UNDISMISS is written and published by an independent solo developer. There is no company, no team and no third party involved, which is also why there is nobody to hand your data to.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Because the game holds no contact details, I have no way to notify you directly — please check back here.

11. Contact

For any questions, please contact: Abrahamlopez5966@iCloud.com

That covers anything about this policy, about what the game stores on your device, or a request to have something explained. It goes straight to the developer — there is nobody else in the loop.
