UNDISMISSHalf of Them Lie

One notification.
It will not swipe away.

You have been put on the night shift at the Notify Bureau. The phone in front of you holds twelve apps. Some of them are telling the truth. Some of them are lying. One of them rewrote everybody else's story.

Portrait. One thumb. No account, no download, no network — the whole case runs and saves on your own device.

A shift in progress: a Clock notification waiting to be tapped, with power, focus and card life all draining
A shift, mid-stream. Power, focus and the card's own life are all running down at once — and the card still has to be read before it can be handled.
01

The case escalates one layer at a time

Each chapter opens two apps, hands you one question, and will not let you move on until you name a suspect. Get it wrong and the chapter locks — you have to replay a node to earn a second hearing, and it pays half.

02

Six kinds of notification, six different hands

A shift is a stream you clear by hand. Read the card before you move — the wrong gesture costs focus, and the clock never stops.

Swipe left

AdCloud

Ordinary junk. Trash it and move on.

Swipe right

Leads

Evidence. Trash it and you lose the thread.

Tap

Clock

Keep tapping until the alarm actually stops.

Hold

Echo Notes

Hold until it finishes repeating itself.

Wait, then left

Software Update

Masked. Dismiss it early and you never see what it was.

Contain

Red Anomaly

Box it before it spreads to the next card.

Power drains while you work and mistakes cost focus. Twenty-two shift types — Rush, Blackout, Low Power, Mirror, Flawless, Endurance and more — keep asking for a different approach.

03

Twelve apps. Twelve statements. Half of them lie.

Open any unlocked app and read what it has to say for itself. Then tag it on your own board — trusted, lying, or infected. The board is yours; nobody checks it until the chapter closes.

05

Before you take the shift

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no login and no server. Your progress is written to your own device and stays there.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The game makes no network requests at all. Once the page has loaded it runs entirely on your device.

What are cache coins and chips?

They are progression items earned by clearing shifts, used only to unlock the six pieces of kit in the Tuning Bay. They cannot be bought, sold or exchanged, and they have no value outside the investigation.

What happens if I accuse the wrong app?

The chapter locks. You replay one node from that chapter to earn a second hearing, and the reward for a corrected verdict is halved. The game will not simply tell you the answer.

Can I play in Chinese?

The whole script — interface, testimony and case text — exists in both English and Simplified Chinese. Which one ships is set at build time.

Who is it for?

Anyone who likes reading a case rather than being handed one. It is a single-player story with no timers between sessions, no competitive element and nothing to purchase.

Six chapters. Find it.

Twelve apps live in this phone. Half of them lie. One of them rewrote everybody else's story — and you have until the end of the shift.
